This year’s charity is Stand Up for Kids Orange County. Stand Up for Kids is a national nonprofit focused on ending the cycle of youth homelessness. 97% of every dollar goes directly to Its programs that support homeless and at-risk youth ages 12-24 by providing essential resources including food and housing stability, to skills training and job readiness. OC Prost Members and Guests can help over 1400 Orange County youth and their families by donating gift cards to stores like Walmart, Target, Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx.

HOLIDAY CHARITY

This year OC Prost is partnering with the Community Action Partnership OC Food Bank.  We will be receiving donations at our luncheon with pick up by the CAP OC Food Bank directly following the luncheon. The CAP OC Food Bank is Orange County’s largest food bank. In 2021, the bank distributed over 43 million pounds of food to the community and have provided over 35,900,000 meals. 

 

The items that are most needed include canned meat/fish, canned fruits, canned vegetables, beans & rice, peanut butter, cereal, pasta & sauces, and personal care items.
